Tokyo Financial Award 2025 Winners Unveiled: Innovation and Sustainability Take Center Stage

The winners of the Tokyo Financial Award 2025 have been revealed. The competition recognises projects that boost Tokyo's role in global finance while promoting sustainability and innovation.

An awards ceremony will take place on March 2, 2026, at Tokyo Innovation Base. Registration for attendees remains open until February 25, 2026.

The Financial Innovation Category saw Impact Circle (Japan) take first place. Clarity AI (US) and Japan Asset Management Platform (Japan) followed in second and third, respectively. Three additional projects—EduCare, Henry, and MynaWallet—each received the Judge's Special Award in the same category.

In the Sustainability Category, three winners emerged in the Investment / Business Subcategory: GOYOH, Jikan Techno, and Tokyu Fudosan Holdings. The University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Frontier Sciences won the Sustainable Finance Human Resource Development Subcategory. A Judge's Special Award in this subcategory went to the Yumiko Miwa Seminar at Meiji University's School of Commerce.

The ceremony will feature opening speeches, the presentation of awards, and pitches from the winning teams. Attendees can also join sessions and networking events throughout the day.

The Tokyo Financial Award aims to strengthen the city's financial sector. It supports projects that drive innovation, improve residents' lives, and encourage sustainable finance practices.
