Magadan's eco-friendly cleanup unites residents for a greener city

Residents of Magadan are invited to join an eco-friendly cleanup event on June 21, 2023. The initiative aims to tidy up the Gorokhovo Field area and is part of a broader citywide campaign for cleanliness. The event will begin at 1:00 PM, with participants meeting at 57 Naberezhnaya Magadanki Street, near the Slavyansky supermarket. Over 5,800 local residents have already signed up for the citywide effort.

Anyone can organise a cleanup by selecting a site, estimating the number of volunteers, and contacting the Administrative and Technical Inspection Office. The office is located at 3B Gorky Square, and inquiries can be made by calling +7 (4132) 201-112. Those needing to log volunteer hours must register in advance.

Participants are advised to bring weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, work gloves, drinking water, and a positive attitude. The cleanup will focus on improving the Gorokhovo Field area.
