Money20/20 Europe celebrates a decade of financial innovation in Amsterdam

Money20/20 Europe marked its 10th edition in Amsterdam this year. The event took place at the RAI from 8 to 10 June 2023, drawing a record crowd. Over 7,500 attendees from 105 countries gathered to discuss the latest in finance and technology. The conference brought together more than 2,300 companies and 450 speakers across six stages. Industry leaders from banking, fintech, payments, and digital assets shared insights on topics like AI, digital currencies, and financial sovereignty.

One in three participants held a C-suite position, highlighting the event’s high-level influence. Policy20, an exclusive round table, hosted over 40 senior policymakers and regulators for closed discussions. Aviel Intelligence also stood out by winning the Start-Up Pitch Competition.

Bryony Naylor, Vice President of Money20/20 Europe, observed a clear trend. She noted that conversations had shifted from predicting the future to actively shaping it within financial services. The event concluded with a focus on action over speculation. With its largest turnout yet, Money20/20 Europe reinforced its role as a key platform for financial innovation. The gathering showcased both emerging start-ups and established leaders driving change in the sector.
