Omsk's Sargatsky District Plans Lakeside Glamping Resort by 2026

A new recreational base may soon appear on the shores of Lake Santankul in Omsk’s Sargatsky District. The proposed resort would offer glamping, local meals, a sauna, and paid fishing. The project remains in its early stages, with developers exploring options for the land.

The planned resort would occupy a 1-hectare plot owned by the municipality. The land is zoned for residential use and permits hotel services. Developers can acquire the site through lease or purchase.

The estimated cost of the project is 50 million rubles, or about $550,000. Construction and setup are expected to take 24 months. Lake Santankul itself is known for its silver crucian carp, with perch and stone moroko also present in its waters.

Sargatsky District is noted for its many lakes, rich in sapropel deposits and Gammarus crustaceans. These natural features could add to the appeal of the new recreational base. The project is currently in the pre-investment phase. If completed, it would add a new tourism option to the region. The resort’s amenities and natural surroundings aim to attract visitors looking for relaxation and outdoor activities.
