Russian youth dazzle at China's ART NOVA Festival with top awards

Russian talent shone at the IV International ART NOVA Festival in China. Two performing groups from the Upper Bureya Children and Youth Creative Development Center secured laureate titles. The event drew gifted participants from across the globe. The Ovation Dance Studio and the Bravo Theater Studio represented Russia at the festival. The Ovation group earned first-place laureate for two routines and second-place for another. Anastasia Ivanova’s solo performances, Where the May Dance Swirls and A Maiden’s Sorrows, also received top honours.

Bravo Theater Studio presented three productions in China, including The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats and Ayoga. All three were awarded first-place laureate status. The young performers from Chegdomyn were later featured in the festival’s gala concert.

Director Svetlana Andryushina praised the Chinese audience’s warm reception of Russian culture. Both instructors at the festival received letters of gratitude from organisers for fostering cultural exchange and friendship between Russia and China. The festival celebrated artistic excellence and international collaboration. Russian groups returned with multiple awards and recognition for their contributions. The event strengthened cultural ties between the two nations.
