Residents in Russia’s Far East have spent 290 million rubles on cultural events using the Pushkin Card this year. The programme continues to grow, with over 40% of young people aged 14 to 22 in the region now holding a card. VTB has issued 358,000 Pushkin Cards in the Far Eastern Federal District. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast leads in youth participation, with half of its young residents using the card. Buryatia follows closely at 48%, with Khabarovsk Krai at 46%.
Yakutia has seen the largest rise in new users, with a 51% increase since January. Sakhalin and Amur Oblast have also experienced significant growth, at 44% and 43% respectively.
On average, each cardholder in the region has spent over 1,400 rubles this year. Of that amount, 400 rubles has gone towards movie tickets. The Pushkin Card programme remains popular in the Far East, with high youth engagement and rising participation. Total spending on cultural activities has already reached 290 million rubles in 2024.
