connexia Wins 2026 National Business Quality Award for Excellence in Care Services

The National Business Quality Award for 2026 has been awarded to connexia, a care and service provider from Vorarlberg. The ceremony took place in Vienna on June 17, hosted by Quality Austria and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Tourism. The award has been presented annually since 1996 by the BMWET and Quality Austria. It is based on the Excellence Framework Europe (EFE). A six-member jury from various organisations evaluated the entries.

Five companies reached the final stage, including faircheck Claims Service and MIBA Plain Bearings Austria. connexia stood out for its comprehensive business excellence, strong corporate culture, and commitment to social responsibility. The Foundation Platform of Austria’s Major Employment Foundations also received recognition, earning a special prize for its work in benchmarking and managing change.

connexia provides a range of services, such as home-based care, long-term residential care, parenting support, and assistance for family caregivers. The award highlights connexia’s achievements in quality and service. The company’s focus on care and social responsibility earned it the top honour. The Foundation Platform of Austria’s Major Employment Foundations was also celebrated for its contributions to organisational development.
