Sushil Sharma named BRICS CCI President to boost Indian startups globally

Sushil Sharma has taken on a new role as President of the MSME & Startup Vertical at BRICS CCI. His appointment adds to his existing leadership positions across several global organisations. He recently represented India at London Tech Week, engaging with key stakeholders in the innovation and trade sectors. Sharma’s visit to London included meetings with startup founders, venture capitalists, and policymakers. He explored investment opportunities, technology partnerships, and cross-border collaborations for Indian startups and MSMEs. His discussions also focused on market access for businesses emerging from smaller cities in India.

He already holds multiple influential roles. These include Global Mentor for SCO Youth, Co-Chair of the Startup Vertical at Rotary District 3053, and Convener of the Rajasthan Chapter of ESC. His work with Marwari Catalysts Group has helped support over 100 startups, reinforcing its reputation as a leading ecosystem enabler.

Sharma is a recognised voice in India’s entrepreneurship and innovation space. He frequently speaks at national and international events. His belief in the potential of Tier-II and Tier-III cities drives his efforts to connect local innovation with global markets.
