NESTLÉ Philippines revives Wellness Campus to boost student health and learning
NESTLÉ Philippines has relaunched its Wellness Campus program to support the health and education of public school students. The initiative, announced on June 17, 2026, targets learners aged 7 to 17 across nine regions in the country. It is a collaboration between NESTLÉ Philippines, the Department of Education (DepEd), and White Charcoal Management Inc. The program runs from June 8, 2026, to April 30, 2027, covering Grades 1 to 10 in public schools. Its three main components are nutrition education, the NESTLÉ Wellness Campus Dancercise program, and various competitions and recognition activities. These include inter-school, inter-division, and inter-regional events, alongside wellness campaigns.
DepEd Davao regional director Allan Farnazo stated that the program prioritises nutrition and health to enhance student learning. Charisma Sy, the program lead at NESTLÉ Philippines, added that the initiative aims to improve children’s well-being by promoting balanced nutrition and active lifestyles. The Wellness Campus program has already shown positive results, including improved school performance and better nutritional habits among students. It continues to expand its reach, supporting both physical and mental health for young learners across the Philippines.
