AI slashes logistics workloads by 95% at Tech Week 2026 showcase

Tech Week 2026 gathered more than 2,500 business leaders for a two-day event on 17–18 June. The conference highlighted how AI is solving long-standing business challenges with high returns on investment. Experts presented real-world cases where automation delivered measurable savings and efficiency gains. During the 'Manufacturing and Logistics' session, Oleg Kemaev from First Bit shared a case involving VideoGlaz-Center, a security systems supplier. The company’s logistics team spent up to 40 hours weekly calculating equipment dimensions manually. First Bit proposed a solution using two AI agents based on Yandex GPT to find dimensions and compute load spaces automatically.

The system achieved 94% accuracy in complex load capacity calculations. It reduced daily requests to logistics staff from 30–40 to just 1–2, cutting workloads dramatically. The project cost between 7,000 and 8,000 rubles ($80–$90) per month in token expenses and paid for itself within six months.

Another example involved an auto parts supplier that secured a 15 million ruble tender. Faster quote preparation using AI tools gave the company a competitive edge. The discussions at Tech Week 2026 emphasised how such projects can yield returns in the hundreds of percent, combining payroll savings with broader operational benefits. The event demonstrated how AI is making previously difficult automation tasks feasible without heavy investment. Businesses reported faster processes, higher accuracy, and significant cost reductions. These outcomes show the growing impact of AI in streamlining industrial and logistical operations.
