Battery Production Days 2026 to Spotlight Startups Shaping Future Battery Tech

The second edition of Battery Production Days will take place on 20 and 21 October 2026 in Aachen. The event will highlight startups working on technologies for future battery manufacturing. It is set to attract around 250 attendees at the Manfred-Weck-Haus. Applications for the BPD Start-up Challenge open on 1 July 2026 and close on 31 August 2026. Startups must submit their entries via an online form, including a pitch deck. A jury of industry and applied research experts will then review all submissions.

Selected finalists will present their solutions in live pitches during the conference. The event targets executives, production managers, engineers, researchers, and companies across the battery value chain.

The programme includes six sessions with over 15 hours of networking opportunities. The conference aims to showcase innovations from emerging businesses in battery production. The challenge focuses on startups developing battery manufacturing technologies. Finalists will gain a platform to present their ideas to industry leaders. The event provides extensive networking and exposure for participants.
