Massive Bicycle Ride to Take Place in Astana

Astana's 21K bike ride unites cyclists for a drug-free city on 20 June

Astana will host a large-scale bike ride on 20 June as part of the 'Astana—A Drug-Free City' campaign. The event is free to join and aims to encourage healthy living and mass sports participation in the city. Online registration opens on 18 June at 9:00 AM and closes the following day at 6:00 PM. Interested residents can sign up via the website reg.elordasport.kz. Spaces are limited to 800 participants.

Those who register online will collect their raffle tickets on the morning of the event, between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM. Anyone who misses the online deadline can still register in person on the day, starting at 7:30 AM.

The race begins at 9:00 AM from the Astana Ormany greenbelt. Cyclists will follow a 21-kilometre route from Koshshi to Urkker. The bike ride is part of a broader effort to promote fitness and community engagement. All participants will take part in a mass event designed to support a drug-free city initiative. The organisers expect strong interest in the limited available spots.
