Yakut blacksmiths have dominated the Klinok – Tradition and Modernity international exhibition, securing top honours in multiple categories. The event, backed by the Museums Department of the Russian Ministry of Culture, showcased traditional and modern blade craftsmanship from across Russia. Yakov Danilov claimed first place in the National Knife category. His winning design stood out among entries from other regions. Alexander Terentyev, representing Amginsky District, took second place in the same category and also earned third in the blade trials for his piece Hunter. Sakha.

In the *Historical Reconstruction* section, Alexander Danilov and Arzhan Kukhaev won first place with their akinakes—a short dagger inspired by ancient Scythian designs. Meanwhile, Stepan Pakhomov from Tattinsky District triumphed in the *Field Kitchen Knife* category. The *Long Blade* competition saw two Yakut victories. Leonid Fyodorov and Alexander Protopopov took first place with their piece *Batyu 'The Bears'*. Alexander Danilov also secured second in this category with his batyu titled *Khotokon*. Mikhail Baishev rounded out the wins, earning third place in the *National Knife* category for his traditional hunting knife. All participating Yakut craftsmen received official certificates from the Russian Ministry of Culture's Museums Department in recognition of their skill and artistry.

The exhibition highlighted Yakutia's strong tradition in blade-making, with local artisans winning across artistic and functional categories. Their success underscores the region's expertise in both historical and contemporary metalwork. Each winner was formally recognised by the event's organisers.
