Waffle House Glows Again With Candlelit Valentine's Day Dinners

Waffle House is bringing back its candlelit Valentine's Day dinner for the 18th year. The event offers a budget-friendly twist on romantic dining, with prices far lower than traditional restaurants. This time, reservations can be made online for the first time.

The tradition started in 2008 at a single Waffle House in Johns Creek, Georgia. Since then, it has grown to include 218 locations across 22 states. Each restaurant will feature white tablecloths and special decorations for the evening.

Valentine's Day is the only night of the year when Waffle House accepts reservations. Despite the formal touches, walk-ins are still welcome at both high and low counter seating. Most menu items will remain priced between $5 and $15, keeping the experience affordable.

The chain has not expanded the event beyond these 22 states in recent years. No records show similar Valentine's Day dinners at other Waffle House locations. Instead, the focus stays on creating a warm, accessible atmosphere rather than upscale dining.

The dinner provides a low-cost alternative for couples looking to celebrate without high restaurant prices. Online reservations are now available, making it easier to secure a spot. The event continues to blend casual dining with a touch of romance.
