YAKUTIA.INFO On April 4, the traditional fishing competition dedicated to Geologists' Day took place on the left bank of the Vilyuy River.

The geography of participants was impressive: guests joined from Khampa, Tasagar, Vilyuysk, Khatassy, and Yakutsk. Around 60 people gathered in total, with 44 officially registered participants.

The weather was delightful that day, and the festival's unofficial mascot—a lively husky—kept spirits high with its playful energy, even among the most serious anglers.
