Tottenham Entrepreneur Lands £100K Deal on Dragons' Den for Sea Moss Wellness Brand

Rome Haghighat, a Tottenham entrepreneur, launched a wellness brand in 2024 that sells supplements made from sea moss and other natural nutrients. His products include gels, capsules, and soaps designed for beauty, detox, and workout recovery. Recently, he pitched his business to investors on Dragons' Den, seeking £100,000 for a 10% stake.

Haghighat's company generated £55,000 in revenue during its first year, with a profit of £8,000. On the show, he explained his long-term goal: to build a business he could one day pass on to his children. He also mentioned flexibility in equity terms if investors could return their capital within 24 months.

All four male Dragons—Steven Bartlett, Peter Jones, Tinie Tempah, and another unnamed investor—made identical offers of £33,333 each for 10% of the business. Haghighat accepted a combined deal from Bartlett, Jones, and Tempah, securing the full £100,000 while keeping 60% ownership of the company.

The brand's products, which include sea cucumber alongside sea moss, target niche wellness markets. However, there is no publicly available data on the growth of demand or market positioning for such supplements in the UK since the launch.

With the investment secured, Haghighat now has the funds to expand his wellness brand. The deal leaves him with majority control while bringing in experienced backers. The company's future will depend on how its niche products perform in the broader UK market.
