Oahu’s Vegan Revolution: Grazing Carts, Chef Services and a New Book on Plant-Based Living
A new wave of plant-based dining is taking shape on Oahu. Local entrepreneur Analea Manakai has launched two vegan-focused ventures, offering everything from grazing carts to private chef services. The island’s food scene is getting a fresh, cruelty-free twist.
Manakai will also appear at Barnes & Noble Ala Moana Center on January 24 to discuss her latest book, Nourishing Paradise.
Manakai’s first business, Graze Elevated, specialises in handcrafted vegan cheeses, seasonal fruits, and artisanal jams. The menu includes signature dips, crudité platters, and gourmet vegan blinis. For events, a mobile grazing cart provides unlimited access to plant-based bites for two hours.
The cart also features a Vegan S’mores Cart, offering a nostalgic dessert experience without animal products. Manakai’s culinary skills were recently showcased on Hawaii News Now Sunrise, where she demonstrated how to turn tofu into cholesterol-free egg-style dishes.
Her second venture, Eat Plants Elevate, delivers personalised private chef services. Clients can book weekly meal prep, nutritional consultations, and fully tailored menus. Each dish is customised to fit dietary needs, health goals, or family preferences.
Manakai’s work aligns with the growing Vegan-ary movement, which promotes plant-based eating as a way to start the new year with nourishing, sustainable choices.
On January 24, she will host a discussion and book signing at Barnes & Noble Ala Moana Center. The event will focus on Nourishing Paradise, her guide to vibrant, plant-powered living.
Manakai’s businesses bring creative, health-focused vegan options to Oahu’s dining scene. The grazing cart and private chef services cater to events, families, and individuals looking for customised plant-based meals. Her upcoming book event offers a chance to explore her approach to nourishing, sustainable food.
