Meiningen hosts gut health seminar for celiac disease and gluten-sensitive individuals

A one-day seminar on gut health will take place in Meiningen this November. The event, titled 'Holistic Strengthening of Gut Health', is designed for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities. Organisers have confirmed that spaces are still available for those wishing to attend.

The seminar runs from 9:00 AM to around 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025. It will be held at Kombinat Meiningen, with sessions covering lifestyle and health principles, medicinal herbs, and gluten-free snack ideas. Gentle movement exercises and Kneipp hydrotherapy will also feature in the programme.

The event is a joint effort by the 'Living Without Grains' self-help group, the Celiac Group of Rhön-Grabfeld, and health educator Luise Ute Baumbach. Funding from statutory health insurance will cover venue and speaker costs. Attendees will need to pay for their own meals, though a vegetarian lunch will be provided.

Registration remains open, and organisers encourage anyone with gluten-related conditions to sign up. No prior medical knowledge is required to participate.

The seminar offers practical advice on managing gut health through diet, movement, and natural therapies. Participants will leave with strategies tailored to gluten-free living. Those interested can secure their place by contacting the organisers directly.
