Langeoog is preparing for the new holiday season by refreshing its beach chairs. Around 1,250 of them are being repaired and cleaned in the island's workshop. The first ones will be available for guests by late March or early April.

Each chair undergoes a detailed check before the season starts. Workers replace worn wooden parts, swap out damaged side panels and fix any broken tables. Once repaired, the chairs are cleaned and painted in bright colours—white, yellow, green, blue, and red.

Holidaymakers don't have to wait until summer to secure their spot. Bookings for the refurbished chairs are already open online, even while some are still in storage or mid-repair.

The island's team ensures every chair meets the same standard before being placed on the beach. No figures exist on how this year's preparations compare to past seasons, but the focus remains on quality and readiness for visitors.

The first batch of beach chairs will be set up for guests in the coming weeks. With repairs complete and bookings available, Langeoog aims to welcome visitors with well-maintained seating. The island's efforts ensure that holidaymakers can relax by the sea as soon as the season begins.
