Koblenz gears up for a year of flea markets and sustainable swaps

Koblenz and its surrounding area are set to host a variety of flea markets, swap meets, and specialty fairs in the coming months. From children's clothing exchanges to book swaps and large-scale secondhand events, residents will have plenty of opportunities to buy, sell, and trade goods sustainably.

The schedule begins with the 'Glückstausch' clothing exchange at Circus Maximus on March 26 and April 23, 2026, running from 5 PM to 8 PM. Participants can bring up to 15 well-preserved clothing items to trade. Just two days later, on March 28, the Multigenerational Center (MGH) at Thielenstraße 13 will host the 'KinderKleiderKarussell' for parents and children from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.

On April 11, the **city flea market** will line the Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer promenade, offering a wide range of secondhand goods. Alongside it, the **'Fleckenmarkt'** for children up to 13 will take place from 10 AM to 3 PM on the forecourt of St. Castor's Church. The following day, April 12, a **large flea market** will be held at the Metro wholesale center, starting at 11 AM and focusing solely on secondhand items. Later in April, the **'Stoffwechsel'** event at the MGH on April 24 will combine an open clothing swap with a **'Bücherkreisel' (Book Swap)** from 6 PM to 8 PM. Meanwhile, the **weekly flea market at Kinopolis** continues every Saturday from 5 AM to 1 PM in the cinema's parking lot and garage. In the autumn, the **Women's Fashion Exchange** returns on October 17 at St. Elisabeth Church, blending sustainability with social interaction. Another **'Stoffwechsel'** event is planned for October 23, while the **city flea market** will make a second appearance on September 12. Earlier in the year, the **Förderverein of Gymnasium im Kannenbäckerland (GiK)** will host a **Tausch- und Flohmarkt** on November 27-28, 2025, featuring books, games, and household items. Those interested in selling at the city flea market must reserve booth spaces in advance through **Ticket Regional**.

These events provide multiple chances for residents to declutter, find bargains, and engage with the community. With dates spread across 2025 and 2026, organisers aim to make sustainable shopping both accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
