Kids Step Back in Time at Wolfenbüttel's Stone Age Adventure Workshop

A five-day 'Stone Age Adventure' workshop is coming to Wolfenbüttel's Youth Leisure Center (JFZ). Running from March 23 to 27, the main event invites children aged eight to twelve to explore prehistoric skills. Free spaces remain available for registration.

The workshop will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Participants will learn fire-making with primitive tools, craft faux fossils, and paint using natural pigments.

A guided tour of the Wolfenbüttel Archaeological Museum is also part of the programme. Children will discover how people lived during the Stone Age. The week will end with an exhibition where they can present their creations to family and friends.

The cost of the workshop is €60, which covers all activities and a warm lunch each day.

Families can still sign up their children for the event. The workshop offers hands-on activities, a museum visit, and a final showcase of the children's work. Organisers have confirmed that places are still open for booking.
