Grasleben Pool Welcomes SnackPoint as New Food Operator for 2025 Season

Grasleben outdoor pool will soon have a new food and drink service. The operator was chosen after the previous one left at the end of the 2025 season. SnackPoint, run by Mustafa Kaplan, will open its doors on May 11—just before the pool’s official season begins on May 16. A search for a new operator started after the pool’s food service was left without management. The local council issued a call for applications, leading to a multi-stage selection process. Mustafa Kaplan was eventually chosen from several candidates.

Kaplan brings years of experience to the role. He has run a well-known snack bar in Weferlingen and previously worked in Grasleben. His new venture, SnackPoint, will serve a variety of food and drinks, including burgers, fries, pizza, hot dogs, beverages, and ice cream. The kiosk will open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM throughout the pool season. All items will also be available for takeaway. Gero Janze, mayor of the collective municipality, welcomed Kaplan’s appointment, calling it a positive move for visitors.

SnackPoint will launch on May 11, five days before the pool’s official opening. The service aims to provide a wide selection of meals and refreshments for guests. Daily operating hours and takeaway options will ensure convenience for all visitors.
