Elevator Expands Flexible Workspaces Near Kansas City Chiefs Territory

Elevator, a flexible workspace provider launched in 2022, has expanded into Kansas City Chiefs territory with a new 42,000-square-foot location. The site, which opened in early December, supports small businesses by offering logistics, office space, and community connections. Backed by a $1.6 million investment this year, the company continues to grow across the Midwest.

Elevator first began in Omaha, Nebraska, before entering the Kansas City Chiefs market late last year. The new facility includes 65 warehouse and flex units, 34 office suites, and three loading docks. It sits near local businesses like Sonic Drive-In and Callsign Brewing, providing easy access for entrepreneurs.

The space attracts a mix of e-commerce sellers and creative startups. Ebony Sirls, founder of luxury plant-based brand Someday Sunday, moved in to scale her business. She plans to use the warehouse for small-batch production, inventory management, and content creation.

Another tenant, Storytailor, a bibliotherapy platform, is also expanding into physical products with Elevator's support. The company's model combines affordable workspaces with logistics help, aiming to remove common barriers for small business owners.

A St. Louis location is set to open this spring, joining existing sites in Des Moines, Lincoln, Nebraska, and the newly launched Kansas City Chiefs hub.

The Kansas City Chiefs expansion marks another step in Elevator's growth, now serving multiple Midwestern cities. With flexible spaces and business resources, the company provides tools for startups and e-commerce brands to develop. Further openings, including St. Louis, are planned for the coming months.
