Dubai's Kite Beach lights up with a digital art installation of kindness

An immersive art installation called Messages from the UAE will open at Kite Beach on 9th and 10th May. The event, hosted by FIX Dessert Chocolatier, invites residents to share messages of kindness and unity. These contributions will become part of a real-time digital artwork displayed on the beachfront. The installation launches on Saturday, 9 May at 4pm and remains open until midnight on both days. Visitors can interact with a giant FIX Hero Box, using tablets to add their own words to a growing digital word cloud. The project aims to turn community voices into a living piece of art.

Behind the initiative is Sarah Hamouda, co-founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier. She explained that the goal is to create a space where people can connect through meaningful messages. The event also celebrates local businesses, with goodie bags featuring products from UAE brands like Careem, Humantra, and Parker’s. Later this year, the collected messages will be curated into a limited-edition FIX Hero Box. These special boxes will be sold through Careem and at DXB Airport. The project is a collaboration between FIX Dessert Chocolatier and Careem, with support from other homegrown brands.

The installation will transform public contributions into a lasting artwork. Visitors leave with goodie bags, while their messages will later appear in a collectable FIX Hero Box. The event highlights local creativity and community spirit at Kite Beach.
