Birco Unveils Smart Drainage and Utility Solutions at InfraTech 2026

Birco will present its latest drainage and infrastructure solutions at InfraTech 2026. The company’s innovations aim to tackle urban flooding and streamline utility installations. Visitors can explore the products in Hall 3, Stand 3B22.

One of the key products on display will be BIRCOmax-i, a dual-purpose channel system. It combines drainage with water retention, holding up to 512 litres per metre to reduce flood risks. Its design also cuts material use, speeds up construction, and lowers costs—making it ideal for sealed urban areas under heavy rainfall.

Another highlight is BIRCOcanal, a solution for laying utility lines with minimal maintenance. Municipalities, factories, and airports can use it for EV charging cables, fibre optics, or hydrogen pipelines. The system offers a durable, cost-effective alternative to traditional trenching.

For high-load areas, BIRCOmassiv provides reinforced stability. It features steel reinforcement, galvanised protection, and anti-slip surfaces to handle shear forces. The design ensures long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Birco’s digital tool, Rainmesh, will also be showcased. The system merges demand data, weather forecasts, and sensor inputs to optimise water distribution. By adjusting storage and flow in real time, it helps prevent overflows and waste.
